Dr. Sunil Pradhan is a researcher specializing in citizenship, borderland studies, and the socio-political landscape of North East India. He was formerly an Assistant Professor at the Centre for North East Studies and Policy Research, Jamia Millia Islamia, and a Nehru Fellow in Elections and Politics at Inclusive Minds. He is the founder of The Sikkim Himāl Institute and has led several research projects on indigenous governance, migration, and Himalayan studies. His work has appeared in Asian Ethnicity, Economic and Political Weekly, and The Hindu. Dr. Pradhan holds a Ph.D. from Jawaharlal Nehru University.
