Pinaki Roy is an alumnus of TISS, Mumbai, completing his M.A. in Social Work degree with a specialisation in Urban & Rural Community Development in 2001. He has worked for NGOs like Seva Mandir, Foundation for Ecological Security, Groupe Development South Asia Regional Office and has been a Focal Contact Point in India for the UN Global Compact.  Over the years he has consulted for organisations like Amnesty International, UK; CARE India; CRY; Global Business Initiative on Human Rights; Oxfam India; Railway Children UK; TISS, Mumbai; World Vision; GRI; ABB; Hindustan Zinc Limited; Sanjog, Friedrich Ebert Stiftung India Office, etc.  Pinaki is a co-founder of The Eco Logical Foundation (ELF). Pinaki is also a key person behind the co-creation of the Forum for Responsible Living (FRL), a trans-organisational collective of change makers - representing multiple knowledge domains - architects, designers, engineers, anthropologists, ecologists, urbanists, perma-culturists, social workers, etc., from across India.
